This week at Louth Planting Hope group we upcycled some donated Pallets and got cracking turning them into Winter Planters. Working with pallet wood creates a unique raw, industrial finish that looks great simply sanded and varnished.

Last week we had a hedgehog that was far too active for this time of year. Hedgehogs should be hibernating now, so this was a sign something wasn’t quite right.

We carefully took it to a local vet, where it’s being fed and cared for with the hope that it will return to the wild soon💚

Layers Of Green
Last week the group went to The Little Pottery Studio and painted their very own mugs. Everyone had a great time making a personalised mug and they can't wait to get them back once they are done.

Family Nature Zone
Last week the children did some sensory play, there was a nature touch box for them to explore, a mix of beans to get their hands into, a box filled with packing peanuts and toys for them to dig around in and to finish it all off they made squish balls.

We will be selling some of our fresh produce, as usual, from our Community Hub, 49 Roman Pavement, tomorrow from 10 until 12. If you can't make it then why not pop over to Louth market on Friday when we will be there from 9 until 3pm.

On this really rainy November Day, our beautiful #FridayFlowers is the Christmas Carol Hellebores that we planted at Stones Place Care Home this week. These perennials have a long flowering period, well into spring. Mainly evergreen with lovely leaves and thrive in shadier spots #WinterColour

This Tuesday, our NeuroThrive community came together to honor Armistice Day with a heartfelt tribute. We observed a two-minute silence and embraced creativity by making beautiful poppies using paint and paper—a symbol of hope and remembrance.

Family Nature Zone
Last week the children made Scarecrows for Guy Fawkes Night, they turned out great and the children had so much fun making them. They also drew some fireworks as we could hear them going off in the background.
