A guy talks about working at a Barnes & Noble Cafe, where I worked in the late ‘90s. He was forced to trash all unsold baked goods every night, vs. donating them to local shelters. Same. Made me sick every time. My coworker once took home a strudel before trashing the rest, because why not. Fired.
