Since 2011, #DGECHO has supported safe and inclusive education in several regions of #Sudan. This support has been vital, but given the scale of the conflict, more help is needed to reach children who still lack access.

Plan International responds to drone strike on office building in North Darfur  - Plan International Sudan Plan International confirms a drone strike on its vacated El-Fasher office on 23 September. No staff were harmed and the organisation remains committed to impartial humanitarian support in Sudan.

⚠️On 23 Sept, Plan International #Sudan office in #NorthDarfur was hit by a drone. The 3 security staff that were on-site during the attack are unharmed.

We urge all armed groups to refrain from the use of weapons that risk indiscriminate harm to civilians.

Last week, most EU member states agreed to reassess the EU-Israel Association Agreement over #Gaza. Plan International welcomes this but it’s not enough.

The EU must:
- Suspend the Agreement
- Demand urgent aid access to Gaza
- Halt arms sales amid #IHL violations

Every five minutes, a child dies from violence. But grave violations against children are not inevitable. They are a result of choices.
