2) I just haven’t been enjoying posting lately. I don’t make money or provide any crucial service posting, so if it’s not fun, what’s the point?
Idk if this is a temporary or indefinite hiatus, but in the meantime my personal account is @dreamworrier.bsky.social if you want to follow me there.

Gonna take a “content” (or w/e) posting hiatus. 2 reasons:
1) I’ve been hella unhealthy this year. From getting a serious concussion in a January car accident to sinus surgery that went poorly in March, I just feel awful always, and should probably be resting whenever I have the opportunity.

Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (Film / DVD: 2005)
The RotS special features DVD has better menus than 99% of all DVDs.

Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (Film / DVD: 2005) - special features
Another banger Star Wars DVD, the randomized menus elevate it even further.

Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (Film / DVD: 2005)
Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (Film: 1980 / DVD: 2004)
Yeah that rules
Continuing the tradition of excellent animated menus, the 2004 Original Trilogy DVDs aren’t *quite* at the same level as the Prequel menus, but still pretty fantastic.

Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (Film: 1980 / DVD: 2004)
Started my Andor S1 rewatch tonight, this time with the 4K Blu-rays. At the risk of hyperbole, this feels like a full remaster versus streaming on D+; the show looks absolutely incredible here
Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (Film and DVD: 2002) 🔊 - special features
Wild Wild West (Film / DVD: 1999)
Messing around with Microsoft Cinemania ‘95. What movie should I look up
These stylized menus perfectly capture the essence of Baz Luhrmann’s inspired adaptation of William Shakespeare’s romantic tragedy.

William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet (Film: 1996 / DVD: 2002)
A Scanner Darkly (Film / DVD: 2006)
Nothing in the way of animation, but the menus match the excellent art style of the film.

A Scanner Darkly (Film / DVD: 2006)
Conan the Barbarian (Film: 1982 / DVD: 2000)
Dark City rules
Bonus point for good use of cool sword

Conan the Barbarian (Film: 1982 / DVD: 2000)
Johnny Mnemonic (Film: 1995 / DVD: 1997)
heck yeah
Lame menus that are more Cybertruck than Cyberpunk.
