Hiiii. Happy started eating on his own again for the first time since early June. This is really great news because with his stroke we were sure that he had completely forgotten how to eat but he’s been eating more and more these past few days. I’m really hoping he improves more from here.

Trying not to say something sad but I really appreciate everyone around me for trying to meet me halfway even though I’m barely moving a few inches. It still makes me happy and I dont want it going unappreciated.

happy started chemotherapy and immunotherapy. hes going to get treatment about every month.

thank you marty!! ;; i really hope so, literally throughout all of this I've just been wishing to understand what he's feeling. He's always been really quiet and never fussed over anything but i know he has to really be braving through all of this. He's my best friend so I just want him comfortable.

Hiiiii happy update. The surgery for his feeding tube went well, I'm still getting the hang of feeding him through it since it's out of my scope but I'm gonna do anything I can for him. I took the week off of work to take care of him since my mom is out of the country, so its just been baby central.

The vet reached back today and they think happy might have meningitis and that he’s going to need a feeding tube along with another scan done. The good news though he seems to be getting stronger little by little every day, he started barking today for the first time in a while and hes moving more.

Happy had his scan today and apparently he suffered from a stroke 😣 the vet says the worst is already over with and that he should be improving. Theyre gonna contact my family with the full details on his scan on either monday or tuesday

Update on Happy: He’s been to two different vets and they’ve both couldnt find anything physically wrong with him and believe that he might have something neurologically affecting him. No concrete diagnosis yet but he’s getting a CT scan next week.

Thank you guys for the messages it really means a lot. :( Im going to try to not act erratically again though, I really want to stay positive and just keep my focus and energy on Happy getting better. Again, thank you, Im sure everyone’s positive energy will reach Happy too ❤️
