This probably does not answer your question whether or not there is a better way for power of 2 precision only. I am curious for that too. Number display in UI is nice with 2 digit precision.
Even this might cause inaccuracies for larger numbers as epsilon becomes more or less influential. This is what I understood from the stackoverflow post.
I did this in javascript, round(x,precision) where I divide and multiply by pow(10, precision).
But in my tests round(1.995, 2) did not round correctly to 2 but to 1.99. You have to add or subtract Number.EPSILON. The internal working of why went above my head. But it helps making tests :).

I found out today I can add a camera and align everything perfectly too. Manual aligning is neigh impossible. I am excited!

I see similar patterns but rather than superpower, I think its necessity. If you (have to) immigrate, you need to find communities that will help you survive, get situated, and put down roots. These communities have accumulated this kind of city knowledge.
