All I will say is watch. This will mean nothing to Trump. His demands will continue and get more extreme. We are in a fight for our existence as a country. You do not win that by caving on our sovereignty.

The proper answer is no Donald Trump is not allowed to dictate Canada‘s tax law by allowing this we are giving up sovereignty. This should never be negotiable. This will not end well for us. I’m very disappointed.

Agreed! I think some people are missing a critical point here. This was us giving up our sovereign right to impose taxes. Think of it this way. Imagine us telling the US to provide universal healthcare or we walk away.. Extreme example I know. But my point stands. I’m disappointed.
