It's a... passable... stopgap, but you can FEEL the gacha busywork and the "extra" characters feel like FE fodder tier unit writing.
Units feel much more restrictive.
That and locking units to story progression and other issues.

The animation quality reminds me of the specific scene from ep1 S1 when Neil was trying to catch that snake in the room.

Same. Even I'd be tempted to try OT1 again over this (if it had OT2's QoL and spritework... and every aesthetic update) since this is... yeah.....

At least the writing's decent/nice for the most part compared to the weaker stories per set from the other two entries (if you ignore the self-insert).

The grind's a bit alleviated with the training grounds...... even though it apparently caps at 12.
But yeah, you can really feel the "gacha gameplay" overwhelming the player since there's no timegating or stamina system to slow you down.
It's not as streamlined as OT2, or even OT1 at that.

This thing should've come with a detachable overcoat cape.

Most of the OT0-exclusive units I've grabbed have been ranging from friendly to mostly dull.

Doesn't look like any of the OT0 units will tickle my fancy like Osvald does. None of them have that disheveled, stinky, murderhobo, hairy, muscular, dilf-y/ossan-y look... which is probably also an apt description of Ossan Bucc and why I'm so horny for him far and above over anyone else in EO.

I only bought the (blue) pirate outfit - and regretted it - and the ugly ass red cowboy outfit mainly for the hair.

To be fair, that barely shows anything on the tab.

Yeah, OT0 isn't hitting me the same as OT2.
6.5 hours of playtime is nice, but that's with a few breaks in between.
Meanwhile, the 3rd playthrough of OT2 had me playing for 4 hours straight uninterrupted.
