I've known of the film "The Devil & Daniel Webster" since I was single digits of age. One of my monster movie books featured it. Well, it took me near enough 6 decades to see it, but now I finally have. And I can tell you that Mr. Scratch (Walter Huston) is one of the finest of all movie Satans.

Right with you there. The utter lack of consideration for others, the inexcusable obliviousness - they just set me to boiling every time.

An excellent thrift store find from way off in far eastern Maryland. The LP - a heavy platter, those vinyl slabs in the 1950s were something else - is in fairly good shape. And Landowska was a keyboard monster (complimentary).
