My Scrap Satisfaction mystery design is available free in four quarterly e-zine issues that I release throughout 2025. This year the design is an EPP project. There are 2 sizes of hexagon template to choose from. I'll be using the tiny hexagons.

Ready for basting, quilting and binding!

I made another 100 patch scrappy block yesterday. That's 7 blocks so far & there's heaps of fabric squares left. I didn't really expect those couple of piles of 'busy print' mini charm leftovers to make so many blocks! It's great to de-stash scrappy clutter once in a while with an easy scrap quilt!

I didn't have a pattern as such I just made scrappy 25 patch blocks with 2.5" mini charm sized squares. But here's a mock-up I did in EQ.

I couldn't resist a video when my scrappy hashtag quilt had its first wash and was hanging on the line drying in the breeze!

Yes I do bind entirely by machine.

I started the weekend with five ready to bind quilts on my to-do list! It was a relief to finish the final one 🤣 then I made a large roll of scrappy bindings to replenish my binding hoard.

I should really put a new blade in my rotary cutter more often! #quiltinglife

Another quilt I got basted and quilted yesterday! A scrappy FPP star framed by scrappy improv pieced black blocks.

Today I got a double sided scrap quilt basted and quilted! 81 scrappy improv blocks on each side of this quilt; yellow on the front and yellow, orange and grey on the back. Total: 162 pieced blocks. It's ready for binding but that can wait til tomorrow!

Basting Day
Today I basted two quilts!
1. Vintage Kitchenalia Adventures (a BOM I hosted in 2019)
2. Scrappy Hashtag Quilt

I am determined to get this old unfinished quilt top completed ready to baste, quilt and bind by the end of the day. #ufoquilt

The first row of my Postage Stamp Tumbler Quilt is assemble! This evening I'll start joining blocks for row two.

I only had four of these bright multicolour scrappy improv blocks so I'm whipping up a quick table topper.

48 more scrappy improv quilt blocks got added to my piles today. I've made over 1500 of these the last few years they are a great way to use up scraps!

It's taken over a year to hand stitch these 25 postage stamp tumbler quilt blocks, now I can move on to quilt assembly! So exciting!

It's been our absolute privilege to have our beloved boy dog with us for so many years, today we celebrated his 15th birthday 🎂🐾♥️ #dog #dogmum
