Knepp Wilding Kitchen, Worthing: βFeels as relaxed as the...
The restaurant is the impressive centrepiece of a rewilding power couple's estate
"Housed in a large barn on the edge of the estate, Knepp Wilding Kitchen feels as relaxed as the cows in the fields surrounding it, an intentionally inclusive space decorated with posies of dried winter foliage & fairy lights."

More beavers released but critics say itβs too dam slow to rewild England
Environmentalists criticise Labourβs slow and expensive rewilding project as a βbumbling bugger-upβ
Thank you to @adamvaughan.bsky.social of the Times for covering the work of the Knepp beavers.
They're busy rewilding the land, holding back flood water, cleaning streams. We urgently need more beavers in the UK. We urge the government to speed up wild releases.

@kneppwilding.bsky.socialβs two-decade ecological review is invaluable evidence that rewilding works. Once familiar but now scarce birds, butterflies, dragonflies and more have all staged comebacks. For example, results show a 900% increase in breeding birds, with a 500% rise in nightingales.

Walled Garden - Knepp
How can you rewild a garden? We have taken what weβve learned from the rewilding project at Knepp to show you how.
Occasionally they find their way in π But generally the gardening team act like herbivores in the way they move through the space, emulating the actions of free roaming animals. It's an experimental approach. You can read about it here: knepp.co.uk/knepp-estate...

Public feels positively about dead and decaying trees, finds new research - Forest Research
Three-quarters of visitors felt neutral, happy, or very happy about a visible dead or decaying tree.
Site managers are often unsure how visitors perceive dead & decaying trees in the landscape.

BREAKING GNAWS! π¨
Earlier in the summer, we said that two beaver kits had been born at Knepp this year. We were wrong. We have three!
And we've named them Birch, Beech and Bay.
It's the most kits our original beaver pair have ever had in one year.
