The U.S. Department of Education has just launched enddei.ed.gov, a public portal for parents, students, and teachers to report instances of so-called “discrimination” related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in schools.
It would be a shame if false reports were made. An absolute shame.

My amazing principal is retiring at the end of this year. At the staff meeting w/the superintendent to talk about what we're looking for in a candidate I bring up valuing specials (art, etc.) and an art therapy program I implemented w/extra time in collaboration with our school social worker. 1/2

Oh hey, it's your girl who works in public ed. RSV is in both of my schools, I had between 3-6 kids out sick of every single class today and I anticipate that ramping up next week. It would be a good time to review proper hand washing with your littles if you have them and masking when going out.

After submitting my app to volunteer with the ACLU, I got my "I voted" sticker tattooed on me to remind myself to fight for the future we and our children deserve.
