Post a car with the wrong wheels, but from the same factory.

I might have painted genuine black Alfa Romeo oil filters orange, to look like they did pre about 2002.

All being well, I will celebrate 25 years with my Alfa 33 16v in April.
I kept my old Fiat Grand Punto 16 years from new.
I've had my "just to restore and sell, honest" motorbike for nearly 13 years.
My father has owned his MotoMorini motorbike, from new in Feb' 1978.

XT tales:

1st car I did (well) over 100 in, in my apprentice days.

Mostly autos, but rare manual was very 'wheelspinny'.

One that should have been w/off gave a bodyshop boss a nervous breakdown.

Another ran dry of oil, and put a rod through the block.

They do whiff a bit.
I do one at a time, about 8m each, split in two blasts, shaking like mad, after each blast with an oven glove, by an open window, until steam subsides.

Pleased to report that the MOT DB tells me that the Fiat GP I owned from new in 2008, and sold in February this year, has just sailed through another test.

Have I missed something?
We received our first Christmas card today, and on this evening's 15 minute dog walk, I counted 19 houses with Christmas stuff up.
It's November 27th.

On the rare occasions I buy coffee out, I always think about using an impressive name, like Maximillion or Sebastian, while in the queue. But every time, I bottle it, and just say "John".

Despite never owning any Ford, the combination of a large takeaway curry, and leaving the electric blanket on high all night, just resulted in me dreaming I was parking a Fiesta Sandpiper outside my (then) local shops on a glorious late '80s summers day.

I guess if it's one of those clever self driving things, it doesn't matter if the windscreen is as dirty as Mr Trebus' patio doors?

Last January, Ocado were selling surplus Mincemeat at about 30p a jar.
I don't really like it, but Mrs MG went mad for it. Despite giving about 8 jars to my mum, we still have 3 jars in our overflow 'larder'.

I somehow managed to talk my dad into swapping his 5dr Alfasud for a new 2dr Sprint QV in 1985. This is a man that made his own breakdown warning triangle out of scrap wood, when we first went on holiday on the continent as a family.

As a kid, a neighbour's grown up son had a BRG Dolomite Sprint, followed by a mustard TR6, and then a white Stag.
After he left home, got married and had a child, the poor b4stard would visit in a beige Acclaim.

To my parents dismay, I entered the motor trade at 16, despite having a place at a good art college.
Prob' learned more about cars and life in 3 years, than since.
But, along with many of my college mates, was out by 19. Half regret it, half don't.
