After watching nearly 8 years worth of the Scouse soap, for #CarsOfBrookside, we've hit the jackpot!
A glorious series 2 Alfa 33 1700 Cloverleaf, in Champagne.

Reliving the 90s, using the 33 for a few weeks.
Playing tapes, filling his enormous boot with DIY stuff, and generally enjoying it all.

Reminds me of this permitted Cov1d dog walk spot, late March 2020.

I would want a Kenlowe fan, in an appropriate car, just for the bloody fantastic switch.

I keep an Agip carwash token and a few Lire in the 33's ashtray. More out of madness than for luck.
That's also an earlier type lighter, as a throwback to my Sprint QV.

It proved you just need nice cars, nice people and somewhere to park. No £35 tickets, no 'celebrity' MCs, etc...

It's now (just over) 4 years since that epic 'little' WCT meet, at Gilk's Cafe, organised by Jim @thealso.bsky.social and Steve Chodspot @16valver.bsky.social

There was a bronze/tan one with Historic 4 spokes and luggage rack for sale around a year a go, but it's price tag was out of reach.
Ashamed to say this is as far as I've got with my own mini Fashion Grey/black Lusso.

Yep. It's completely impractical, but I plan to keep it for a while.

A year to the day!
Every little journey has felt like an adventure.
About £120 quid in service bits, rust proofing stuff, and hood clean/protector.
Depreciation possibly somewhere between zero and £500 thus far.

I'm sure it's a great book, but all my brain sees is this:

First 26 plate spotted yay!
A f*cking Jaecoo.
Not quite as exciting as a neighbour's new two tone Granada Sapphire, on a T plate, in my childhood.

Watched some old Three Up Two Down episodes this week. Came out in 1985. The 'old' dad, was played by a then 39 yo Michael Elphick. His son, married with a baby, was played by Ray Burdis, who was 27.

Prob' mid to late 70's in a flip top box. Look great on the dashboard of a Rover P6 or similar.

Practically a Testarossa engine!
Airbox off as part of post winter tickling. Taxing early this year, as need a decent boot for a few weeks, so forgive me if it snows in March.

And try the handle.
My old Alfa has central locking, but after mechanically locking with the key, I look through the windows to make sure the door buttons are all down.

An old girl over the road had had her Ladybird from new on an X plate. It was scrapped 2 years ago, with about 30k on the clock, and the owner said it had needed "a lot more soldering".
