A call & response with my surroundings. Nature is not just a background but, a partner, a collaborator. This canvas is steeped & infused with rainwater, pigments, ink berries, dirt, and rubbings. The material of the canvas absorbing the elements. Paint, dry pigments, and colored pencils also used.
