A couple of years back, yeah, but I'm in too deep on CAD that doing regular 3d modeling feels foreign. 😅 Used to be a game industry artist and shifted away from that.

I keep waiting for the day there's an announcement of a figure based on one of your drawings, but then there'd still be disappointment because soooo many of them would look amazing as a figure.

Well, finding out she's a nutcase is slightly disappointing.

Yup; as I said to another reply, calling it "reconstruction" was such an incredible misnomer that it's still not fixed.

That there was an 'era' for it & not a reset means there wasn't any actual reconstruction, just pooling all the bad from the south together & lightly slapping them on the hand. Calling it by that name suggests something useful was actually accomplished. All that was done was reclaiming territory.

Paradise was the high water mark. The soundtrack was spot on, the sound of the cars was incredible, the speed was insane, and the crashes just felt cinematic. The vehicle start-ups were something else, it felt like you were convincing some unknown monstrosity to awake from its eons-long slumber.

Progress on the #volvo #P1800, rebuilt SU carbs are installed, as well as the new intake and exhaust manifolds. Changed out the mechanical throttle linkage for a cable drive. Need to install the rest of the new exhaust system and keep moving forward

Welding is one of those things that you're doing it as a hobby / handy-to-have skill, it feels like every time you pick it back up you have to relearn it a little again.

This is the thing so many (far) left people don't seem to grasp - it's always going to be a slow crawl to better candidates on the liberal side of things, and just throwing a hissy fit and not voting or wasting your vote on a slim chance doesn't help anyone.

About 20 years ago I was working at a PSP game dev, & our studio manager walks up & shows me Descent, the classic sci fi PC shooter, running on his modded PSP. The thumbstick controller worked so damn well for the game's 360 degree navigation, it was a crime that it was never released officially.

Have a Silverado EV and a Blazer EV at our place. Love the range, and had until recently just been charging at home. Got stuck away from home and needed a charge, found a high power charger and before I'd even finished my lunch was already back to near full charge. No complaints here!

Been charging my Silverado EV at the Tesla charging stations near my work. Every time I park there, I get some Tesla owner walking up, complimenting the truck's looks and its range, and then unprompted making the comment "I'd much rather own this than that ugly-ass Cybertruck."

So they have a failsafe that when an autonomous system reaches a fault state it reverts back to human control until the issue is resolved? And the problem here is...?
It's not like they're making "robots" that are human-controlled the whole time.

I've had to use a license server crack on every system I've used a legit copy of CS5.5 on because of Adobe's licensing bs. Plus side is it breaks their auto-update bs as well, which is great cause the updates actually removed features.
