I’ve got a copy. Its gorgeous. I read recently that it was somewhat 4e inspired? I didn’t pick up on that in my one read-through. Neat to have a reason to revisit it though

The 3.5 DM was more experienced and ran a great game, but I was much less fond of the rules and how they were presented. I liked the gamest language of 4e. It crammed a lot of info into a relatively low word count.

All games have their problems but I would definitely play in a 4e game today

I got to play in a 4e one-shot yesterday. Tons of fun. I forgot how much I liked that edition of #dnd Possibly b/c I had no nostalgia for earlier editions?

I played in a 3.5 campaign after my one and only 4e experience in 2004, and I found 3.5 overly fussy and verbose in comparison.

Last of the pregens for next weekend's game. Wizards are cool and their drip is . . .uh, wet? I guess? Whatever the Gen Alpha kids say.

Any PC can use spellbooks in GLAIVE, but if you focus build on wizard talents you can start to do some pretty neat things with them.

I like Otto. Peak male phisique imho (thick, like bear) paired with a raunchy beard. Hot. His Hospitaller talent is an adaptation of a neat ranger ability in #Shadowdark. If you haven't read or played SD I think you are really missing out on probably **the best** intro to D&D game ever written

Earwig Scumnose is the best thief name I have ever randomly generated and I'm really bummed that no one is playing them in our upcoming game.

(The 4 players rolled randomly to see which of the 6 pregen characters they would play).

Also, I'm really uncertain what this person's gender is, and I'm a bit obsessed with them now.

Vanilla Fighter will forever be my favorite class, but I wasn't sure how to make a vanilla human vanilla fighter as interesting as a demi-ogre or the other non-humans.

But then I remembered that mullets exist.
