A mix of an old F1 car and a smol tank. It's a fun juxtaposition of incompatible design philosophies.

The "weakspot" obviously being the exposed engine at the back; about 50% of the vehicle, and all the view from the rear is funny; whomever took the lead would always be wiped out :'D

Most OSR monster I've ever heard of

A dark illustration against black of the Mouth of Truth, a stone disc carving found in Rome. It's a bit of a tourism interest, as local legend contends that sticking your hand in the mouth will reveal how truthful you are. If you are an honest individual, your hand will be fine. If you are a liar, you can kiss your hand goodbye. In the illustration, instead of a hand going into the mouth, a red hand is coming out of the mouth. The first four panels from today's page of ATOMIC ROBO AND THE PERIL OF PROMETHEUS. Panel One: An interior shot of one of the lifeboats. There is a caption which informs us: "Meanwhile, on the other side of the ship..." Eagle-eyed readers will notice mechanical fingers prying into the door's edges from the exterior. Panel Two: Same shot, but now the door is being ripped right off its hinges with the sound effect "Skeeerank!" Panel Three: We're right outside the lifeboat where Robo is flinging the door into the background with wild abandon. ROBO: She won't be waterproof, but better wet than dead." SFX (door): fwing! Panel Four: We're back inside the lifeboat as Eleanore climbs aboard saying, "What sort of deranged maniac would seal up the lifeboats?"

I wrote this story for nerdy Black girls socialized in environments that minimized them. I was terrified that people wouldn't get it. But people *have* gotten it. This silly & heartfelt story is SO different from CHECK PLEASE but you'll love it!
