Four street-dwelling families start anew at ‘Onward Home’ shelter - Manila Standard Sunshine broke through the heavy week of rain just as four families, once living on the streets, took their first steps into a place they can finally call

"We used to sleep on the cold pavement. Now, we'll sleep in a home filled with hope."

This week, Teresita and her children moved into Onward Home, our new housing programme in partnership with the Vincentian Foundation and Vincentian Family Philippines.

In 2024, there were nearly 8,000 visits to L'Accueil Périchaux, Depaul France's day centre. Depaul France builds trust with those visiting the day centre, supporting them to move off the street.

In 2024, Depaul USA ensured that even more people had a place to call home, making 44% more beds available at their housing services🏡

In the USA, 8% of undergraduate students are experiencing #homelessness.

That's why Depaul USA runs the Dax Program, which provides housing for students. Students also receive financial skills workshops, helping them build the tools needed to retain tenancies.
