Anytime you hear "Draw your own conclusions", it's an appeal to go down the rabbit hole and search for info that confirms your prejudices.
Why? Because any silly thing can be found online.
And then we act as if a single data point is as valid as hundreds of responsible sources.

You make a fantastic point. Being told that it needs to be fluffed up makes me feel that it's not good enough and once it's fluffed up, it won't feel like my work anymore and I will feel like an imposter.

I have written this really good (according to people who have read it) booklet about imposter syndrome. It's about 40 pages, but a publisher I talked to told me I would need to fluff it up to at least 180 pages. Why isn't there a market for short, but information-dense booklets?

I was in Munich last weekend and went to a café at around 11am. Sat down and a waiter rushed over to explain that I couldn't sit there, as that area was reserved for people who order food. When I asked why he thought I would not be ordering food, his answer was: "We don't serve food before 12!".

After watching "Best of Enemies" about Gore Vidal and William Buckley, I thought it would actually be quite nice to listen to a current intelligent and articulate conservative.
