If you’re thinking that 2025 might be the year for something a bit different, have a look at these roles:

Regional Director
Director of Transformation
Managing Director of a new HEI

We’re a small team that works with others to have a big impact.

Please do share with great people!

This is why, I think, so many teachers are reacting viscerally against the reports in @thetimes.com- it’s not that they don’t think school should be fun, it’s that they recognize that you don’t make it fun by trying to make it fun - you make it fun by aiming for purpose & doing it as well as you can

Huge thanks to @jofacer.bsky.social @tombennett71.bsky.social and John Catt for the opportunity to write about the importance of high quality PD and how we can build more of it.

My daughter asked if it ‘has sharks in it’. You’ll have to read to find out.

📢The Building Belonging Project 📢

So happy to share a big project that I’ve been working on for the last few years with my LSX teammates.

The building belonging project features insights from world experts, as well as classroom resources.

And we’re just getting started!

As if I trained you! My recollection is you were practically perfect in every way from the interview lesson - not even an exaggeration.

I just wish they’d read the national curriculum before demanding that things which are already in it should be in it.

Good luck to everyone today.

Kids from the poorest families may not have the same safety net(s) for support and the future if results are unexpectedly weaker than anticipated, so celebrate lots and I recommend checking in on them and diarise doing so again on Monday, in a week, and in September.
