testing the waters of using aseprite to set the image's color palette to that of the EGA graphics. After enough tweaking i got the visuals that i is really cool.

idk if this counts; but also consider that constantly looking through doom news and posts shared by some buddies can result in compassion fatigue. this is one of the reasons i had to drastically chop down my time on tumblr lately.

swag so epic i had to made art with the MS-DOS EGA graphics palette

i found my style during lockdown back in 2021 and since then i worked with my groove ^_^

i predict that it's going to be cloudy with a chance of raining men

And last but not least, Part 4 will be all about finalizing things and sneaking in easter eggs of my favorite interests.

Any tweaks will be made for an artisic gaming experience.

Phase 3 will be *important*, as it puts an emphasis on translation. Text and dialogues will need to be tweaked to gave relevance to the plot. It's gotta be smooth like ice.

I will have to seek translators for the following languages: Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, and Japanese. For now.

Part 2 is gonna be all about building the actual game on the foundation of the prototype. Along the way I will design the visuals, storyboard the cutscnenes, compose the music, and let gamers playtest it from time to time to find any bugs and glitches that could hinder the experience.

Part 1 is going to be about building a prototype of the game. In this instance I'll be building a code for randomly generating a dungeon layout, making the game similar to Slenderman: The 8 Pages, and playtesting will be available.

Playtesting is important, as it'll help me find bugs to fix.

So ☝️I've plotted to form my game project in 4 parts.

Part 1 - Gridwork.exe. This is going to be the prototype.

Part 2 - Building the game from the prototype. Playtesting.

Part 3 - Text, dialogues and translations.

Part 4 - Finishing touches and sneaking in easter eggs.

It's being featured at the QCAD Grey Street art gallery
