Opinions are my own, and often wrong.

I suggest: Anarchism.
Please get some rest!

17.09.2025 22:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Weβve remained friends for nearly 40 years now, and I will always be grateful for that peace summit in the summer of 1988.

We had lunch there - the girl and I - and sat at a table next to a window overlooking Union Square. She was lovely, and we were young, and pretending to be so very mature, with our salads and mineral water.

For homecoming of our sophomore year, her family took us to the City (San Francisco) to shop for homecoming clothes. In those days, there was a huge Nordstrom at the San Francisco Centre (I think itβs no longer there), with a restaurant on the 4th or 5th floor with a fantastic view of the city.

By the end of that meeting, it was clear that this girl and I were going to not only get along, but also find a romantic spark that led to an on-again, off-again relationship that lasted the next two years.

The second summer of ATS the my friend decided that a βpeace summitβ was in order, so the three of us sat in a record listening room (among the coolest things about being at the university, and a story for another time) for several hours hashing out misunderstandings.

When I was a young teenager I participated in a summer education program at the University in my hometown (Academic Talent Search, for my fellow Gen X nerds), and my best friend had a (girl)friend who hated me as far as I knew.

I had lunch at the restaurant inside the local Nordstrom today. Iβve eaten at various Nordstrom restaurants hundreds of times over the last 35 years, but for some reason today I was reminded of the first time I ever ate in a Nordstrom restaurant.
