i did not think square enix would be replacing the 2013 version of FF7 with an even worse version, that messes up cutscene music timing, runs too fast in battle scenes, and has a weird smoothing filter on by default, but here we are. thank you square enix

these bizarre arcade controls mapped to ssbb are probably better than sideways wii remote, the way that millions of people played brawl. double tap to dash would definitely feel better on an arcade stick, lol
if people's biggest gripe is that they felt alienated by the last 2 rebuilds not "feeling" evangelion enough, well that's understandable. that's what they get for trying something new
what's surprising me most about hearing the new evangelion news is that i'm learning for the first time that a bunch of people didn't like the rebuilds! okay
i thought the rebuilds did a great job of fulfilling their stated, non-spoiler mission statement of finding a way to give eva a happy ending
