Sommi passed away in my arms this afternoon with his two favorite housekeepers by his side. He fought a valiant fight but the Leukemia finally won

Last night I enjoyed the pure joy of loud purrs for over an hour until Sommi slowly conked out on my arm. He was immediately feeling much more energetic and relaxed after his transfusion: walking around the hospital and later yelling at me to pet him at home 😻😻😻

Sommi still has moments of joy each day, either snuggling and purring with us, or checking out his garden. He is very weak and his G-I system is under attack, but he still has feisty moments even though he sleeps a lot these days, similar to a very old cat

This beautiful 7kg sleepy boy, and his cat mom, wanted to help Sommi so they gave blood and Sommi got a transfusion. Really thankful to them and, even though Sommi is super weak, he hasn’t chosen to give up yet 🙏🙏🙏
