After 10 years, I finally visited the University of Utah and met Prof. Henry White again! It was great to catch up with old friends, and our lab members really enjoyed it too. Hope to come back soon!
03.05.2025 04:07 — 👍 2 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0We participated in the FNANO conference for the first time, held in beautiful Snowbird, Utah. It was a great experience, one oral presentation and three posters!
The conference had a close-knit atmosphere and led to many nice discussions. Next year it’ll be in Europe, we should definitely go again!
Ph.D. student, JJJ's work on liposome generation by high speed jet flow is now open in Lab on a Chip @labonachip.rsc.org ! This work was done in collaboration with Tagawa lab in TUAT!

Congrats!! Ogawa-san!!
19.02.2025 23:40 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0We are enjoying the BPS meeting in LA @biophysicalsoc.bsky.social! Ogawa-san gave a nice oral presentation on de novo nanopore, and other members did poster presentations.
We also thank the Foundation of Electrotechnology of Chubu, Nakatani Foundation and JSPS for supporting our participation.
今年も研究室で府中駅伝大会に参加しました!
今年は教員主体のベテランズ、大学院生のチューケンズ、学部生のルーキーズの3チームで出場!走った後は恒例の焼肉とビールで慰労会をしました!
We practiced giving presentations in English with all the lab members.
We are ready to give presentations in BPS @biophysicalsoc.bsky.social !
Miyagi-san’s study on the translocon EXP2 nanopore is now open in Small Methods!
The engineered EXP2 nanopore allows the discrimination of many peptide fragments! It is a collaboration with Yohda lab@TUAT.
