I was talking about ctenophores last night and it just made me want to lay on a dock watching the animals go by so badly. This is the part of the winter where the length of time indoors starts to feel unbearable.

Against a dark backdrop is a sharply lit male humanoid figure, with hooves instead of feet, a feline face, curled ram's horns on its head, and pointed ears that emerge from within the horns horizontally. A bright and fluffed out wing spreads to the figure's side, the left side of the image, the tips of the feathers lit with bright gold. The horns are gold, as are two small wings that emerge from behind the ears, the eyes, and many lines and marks around the eyes. Cracks spread across the dichromatic purple and cyan fur, also bright gold, like kintsugi. Threads of gold are in the hair, which sweeps over one side of the head and is held in an unraveling braid behind them. A bright but very thin circle surrounds them, distorted and chromatic bands joining it as if it is all spinning.

The prior image, but zoomed out so that a second wing is visible, mostly dark and blurry, with only the tips of a few feathers visible.The entire visible wing is in picture, its feathers twisting and twirling as if there are great forces pulling them around.

This was sitting mostly done for a hot minute x ^x It's kinda my sona? Metaphors!

Hi, I'm a golf ball sized tumor growing on a 22-year-old's kidney. Normally I'd not produce any symptoms until reaching later stages, at which point I'd be generally guaranteed to kill my host, but this kid had an uncommon immune response that tipped off the ER staff. My host's bestie named me Paco.

My best and favourite girl, Heidi, a German Shepherd, snuggled up with four small kittens There's a lovely tabby smooshed into her face, a ginger, and a ginger and white kitten on either side of the tabby, and a calico curled up at the bottom. They are super cosy and peaceful.

In the wake of all the news coming out of the US and the amount of shouting at the TV I've done, I thought everyone else might benefit from one of my favourite photos from 2017 to break up the doom scrolling.

I cannot fix the big things, so here's a small thing.

if I were to offer any art advice to anyone it would just be
"You really do just gotta make whatever you like, cringe be damned."

I finally finished the other big WIP! it took forever, and I don't think this captures what the initial vibe was, but I think it's good in its own right. and I learned a ton!
