"Flamboyantly abstract"
A piece i finished last year around October. Made entirely with colored pencils ( Faber-Castell polychromos and Caran d'Ache luminance and neoart sticks on A5 sized Fabriano artistico HP cotton.) I used my own reference photo and ofcourse no AI used.
Another work in progress :) (colored pencil on arches hp cotton, from own reference photo).
Some more oily progress 😃
Oil painting progress so far, i really love this medium❤️ ( definite version of this years memoriam piece)

"In memory of you"
It has been 6 years already since i had to say goodbye to you, the best friend i had in a time i had none, you who gave my life colors in my most washed out of days, my single light in my darkest of moments.
Dank je wel dat je er voor me was lieve Ed. #memoriamart
At long last the sculpting process is done! I think i started this one somewhere in 2023, but sadly it got very busy at my job and privately things happened so i did not have a lot of time to art these last 2 years, but bit by bit i completed this big duck and now it's finally ready for some color!
Thank you! :D
Some progress on a study for a oil painting that i am planning for this year's memoriam piece :)
Thank you! ☺️
Dank je wel ☺️
Aww thank you!
Thank you!
Just the feet left to do and then this big fellah is finally completed and ready for Paint 😃
Thank you! Yes there are many metallic watercolors actually! I used kuretake's starry colors for the gold in this one but fine tec coliro has a large range of great golds and metallic watercolors aswell :)
Thank you!
"Pureté"
A little portrait of my funky little mustache child :)

(Own reference photo used)
"Lady in red"
Drawn on fabriano artisitico cotton with Caran d'Ache Luminance pencils and neoart crayons and stencil + gold leaf for the pattern in the background.
From own photo reference.
Progress so far :) water colors and watercolor crayons in a mossery watercolor sketchbook.
The red Macaw in colored pencils is done 😃 i just need to work on the photographs of that piece, not something i love the most to do and i did not feel like it today so instead i took an older idea from my sketchbook and sketched a more refined version of it for me to work on among other things XD
Little dork XD
Much happier with this second attempt 😀
So i started over because i wasn't happy with how things started to look, mainly because this paper type did not work for me XD. The paper got saturated way to fast and it was hard to make soft blends and marks on the paper, it started to frustrate me and it shows...
Something new in the works ❤️ 2 weeks ago the Caran d'Ache Neoart lightfast crayons were finally released here in the Netherlands and ofcourse i had to go get them and try them (i got them for quite a good deal too😃) ofcourse my work was being judged as always xD
(Working from my own reference photo)
I drew them in manually with with hard edged silicon tools and tiny bal stylus tools :) i could have made Textures stamps as that would have been faster but this gives a more natural look end looks more uniform (at least that's what i think :)
Almost ready for a second bake! Only one hind leg and a part of the bum to texture. And then i can finally finish it by sculpting the hind feet and tail😄 #parasaurolophus #dinoart #paleoart #polymerclayart
"Hræsvelgr"
And here is my first finished piece for 2025!
8.27 x 11.81 inches on fabriano artistico extra white HP cotton, drawn entirely with colored pencils.
Worked from my own reference photo and the background from imagintion.
Another bigger colored pencil piece in the making :)
Working from my own reference photo and an experimental background to add a pinch of magic XD #birdart #coloredpencilart #traditionalart
Thank you!
Almost done with all the skin wrinkles and folds on the body of my duck-o-saurus, took a bit of artistic freedom here as i don't know if they were that wrinkly XD but i enjoyed sculpting all these skin rolls a lot XD #parasaurolophus #paleoart #polymerclaysculpt
