One of MY chat friends owned a NYV flower shop. She threw a little party for the Bowienet group, summer of '99. I guess she invited Bowie. He didn't show, BUT he sent a representative who played "The Pretty Things Are Goinf)g to Hell" for us from "Hours," which was in progress at the time.

I saw an interview with the HUD secretary, who is, I believe, a former pastor, who was praising some church-run homelessness programs, saying they were doing it right. They wanted an excuse to claim it was OK to redirect federal funds to the DJT vanity ballroom.
