While I do hope they close that chapter with SNW’s, the fact remains that the sets for Year One already exist (same for more Academy), which unfortunately may move the needle in that direction.
The sad realization is we may not have any word on brand new Trek TV productions until everything with the merger is complete.
Question: could Paramount Plus write off both S2 of #StarfleetAcademy and S5 of #StrangeNewWorlds for a tax break pre-merger, just to have them picked up by HBOMax? #StarTrek
