despite some issues @jarredsumner.com #bun was the only runtime that could properly build the super bloated #react stack these guys had assembled- v8 pointer problems would always crash #node and #deno

that said several hundred megabytes of dependencies isn’t ideal in the first place 🙃

bun install refuses to play nice with .npmrc for private package registries (github) also it was having some strange issues with obscure packages that were baked into this project by the previous team

I've just become VERY spoiled with the #Python ecosystem, #Dart and #Go where it's not so chaotic

Next up though is attempting to build something meaningful with #Mojo

A year+ here, I guess I'll finally post.

Inherited a large #TypeScript app and having memory issues due to a billion dependencies.

#Deno is a super nice replacement for #Node when doing #javascript and #typescript development but just like #Bun it falls right on its face.

#JS development sucks
