honestly, going from Plum to Alaris and back to Plum, Plum pumps aren’t as bad as the reputation they get (but God do I miss having multiple channels lol)

age thresholds for commonly used drugs (and exceptions to the rules!)
times when peds dosing doesn’t line up with adults (amoxicillin max for AOM, propofol tolerance, ET epi dose in PALS vs ACLS)

I have a student on rotation with me which means teaching on pressors - I always love going *why* the different pressors have different receptor effects and thus clinical effects rather than just spitting out the facts

update from today: my system is moving forward with the FDA approved rounding scheme

it essentially is, just rounded a little differently
0.25mg/kg rounded UP to the next 2.5mg rather than the nearest 0.5mg or 1mg
