Very cool paper led by @ruthedunn.bsky.social showing that birds choose particular wind conditions that seem to aid in foraging success! Plus, they put cameras on the birds' legs to film them catching flying fish - awesome!

I like this discounted "parent rate" idea from @britishecologicalsociety.org ! ๐Ÿ‘ I'd have also appreciated a "very pregnant" rate for recognising sessions missed due to naps but perhaps that's a step too far ๐Ÿ˜‚
