I really enjoy taking the train to mag. bonus points if there's a blizzard, but it doesnt matter because you're on the train

I have thoroughly enjoyed my 12+ hour train rides to mag. especially when there's a furious snowstorm and you wouldn't have been able to drive or fly in it anyway

Closed Profile Event Changes New for 2026, Super MAGFest will be closed-profile, which means that you must present your badge in order to enter the Gaylord. We believe this will make the event safer and more fair for our attendees. We are working closely with Gaylord security to confirm the logistics and we will share more information on or around November 19, 2025. There is no need to do anything at this time besides buying your badge as normal--as long as you have one of those, you're all set!

as I said in the other post - shuttle and ranked choice lottery is such a gigantic improvement, I hope other large events use this system, too.

But also: I do not envy the hotel team when they get the inevitable FLOOD of emails from people who missed deadlines because they didn't read
