ITS TIME

As someone raised in restaurants, it is pretty accurate to the feelings of high-speed food service and it’s stressful af but I appreciate how much the show appreciates it. The more I watch it, the more the chaos is predictable and weirdly comforting.

Teacher put up a writing assignment about ceramics terminology and under “bisque firing” a student sent in a ChatGPT generated response about how “bisque is a smooth, creamy, highly seasoned soup of French origin, classically based on a strained broth of crustaceans.” 🫡👍👌

IRON CLAW was really good! I saw it with my brother and it predictably destroyed me.

Xmas movie watching updates: “A toast to my big brother George: The richest man in town.” is still a very good line. And Michael Caine in Muppet Christmas Carol is still my favorite performance in cinema history.
