Thank you, Dr. LeRoux! I will miss everyone too!

Every step of this journey has been a gift, and I’m excited for the next chapter. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this adventure.

I miss Dr. Miller and Dr. Dunn deeply. I hope they’re smiling down and proud, knowing the impact they continue to have on my life.

To my advisor, Dr. Jered Carr: you’re simply amazing. Your mentorship, constant encouragement, genuine care, and incredible sense of humor have meant the world to me. Thank you for always being there for me.

I owe a massive thank you to my committee—Dr. Kate Albrecht, Dr. Kelly LeRoux, Dr. Michael Siciliano, and Dr. Rachel Krause. Your patience, guidance, and belief in me helped me push through the toughest days.

The past few years have been a wild ride, and I couldn’t have made it without the incredible support of my faculty, PhD peers, friends, and students who’ve cheered me on every step of the way.

I defended my dissertation yesterday, and I’m still in disbelief—it feels like I’m living in a dream. Every moment of this journey has been surreal.
