Artwork is narcotic if it is used as part of a regime marketing program (fyp). Resources have nothing to do with it. It is actually the poorest of us who are most likely to contribute.

I wanted to let people know why i will not be posting works on social media anymore, which ive been doing semiregularly up until now. If this were not a factor i would not have posted about it at all.

Thank you for saying this, even if i cant internalize it fully. I dont think my work is specifically bad for the world. I think some substantive distance has opened between me and the world. I hope i settle back down soon.

More directly: with few exceptions I have been noided 24/7 for months. I believe that all of the cultural projects i have invested myself in 1.) actively make the world worse and/or 2.) are rapidly being legislated out of existance.

I believe this to be a moderate position on an issue that ive been struggling with constantly for some time now. I hope that this may allow me to continue to produce work while simultaneously divesting from American cultural production.

once i am through with my prior obligations, i will no longer be showing my work publicly in american or european art institutions, including platforms like bluesky and instagram.
