I think many of the stresses youre talking about can be attributed to, like, this being the only party some nerds have ever been to. The isolating experience may in part be people realizing in real time they dont like big loud parties. If i could call anything here Projection it may be that.

Print on demand definitely made it quicker to finalize a brand, but branding has always been the name of the game in furry. The only real difference in the 80's was that there was less money to go around.

Also i dont like how not fucking with a large conspace is treated like a point of failure.

it is difficult and counterintuitive to produce work for platforms that mostly reward work based on how clearly it connects to other work. you make yourself disposable in this way. your work rolls off the brain in this way.
