3/? is that Gortash legally changed his name (his surname was originally Flymm) and convinced Raphael it was purely out of disconnecting from his birth family and was likely seeds long sewn, a known enmity. The name on the contract is Flymm so as soon as Raph acknowledged Gortash as his name

I maintain the idea that #gortash escaped the House of Hope, but the how's are always interesting. I think unknown to him, Raphael's contract only lasted as long as he was technically the "property" of his parents. Their claim to him had an expiration date and so would his, but 1/?

Random #gortash hc: he does not keep animals but he likes cats and is perfectly fine with an increased population in the gate because raphael hates them (esp kittens) and it's a subtle way of letting him know he's not welcome.

The way I always wrote it is that man took five minutes in private to mourn, do all his feelings, write it down in code then IMMEDIATELY put it away because the plot continues and Orin is waiting for him to react and he won't give her the satisfaction. All that stays in a box until it's all done.

I'm very into the outfit here; is that a specific armor ingame or a mod?

I have no durge to commit to this qotd but I have definitely WRITTEN a Gortash who has been tadpoled. It is also a fun way to play the game if you're using mods to make an NPC tav. "So this NPC died. Next thing they know they are waking up on that ship and no one recognizes them. Go!"

6/? here and endangers himself if he decides to make trouble without means to defend himself or even advocates. The most notable storyline he's done so far involved the ship accidentally getting sucked into Silent Hill and boy what a GREAT WAY to unpack issues (and also practice my horror writing).

So I do some odd PSLs in RP for #gortash but I also have him in a game with a set storyline. To give you the gist, villain-types die and get a second shot at going back if they rehab with guidance. The setting: a ship that travels between dimensions, so it's "change via experience." 1/?

4/? Third? He can slip out of virtually any manacle. Doesn't even need to pick the locks, though he often can. (Some of the best ones on the market are HIS designs.) He might have to dislocate a limb or two, but he's been doing this since he was a kid. So bindings in bed? No prob.

I have experimented some with the popular #gortash fanon that he has EDS, hence slower healing scars, the gauntlets concealing ringsplints, the cane and his gait being very subtly off. In my writing and rps this tends to appear in a few specific ways: 1/?

I don't tend to write him as having "regular" other places he sleeps. He just feels better having a smaller and more fortified place to sleep (but he's probably not doing it very much). His bath is where all the money goes tho.

Durge complaining about the size of Gortash's bed. What's the point in being an Archduke if you're going to scrimp when it comes to your own comfort?
