3. From Mapping to Mobilising
Mapping is just the start. Mobilise stakeholders through co-creation and shared ownership. Thatβs how bankable projects become resilient and impactful.
#ProjectFinance #NatureBasedSolutions #StakeholderStrategy
2. Know Their Interests
Effective engagement starts with understanding stakeholder interests. What motivates them? What concerns them? Tailor your approach to build alignment.
#StakeholderMapping #ImpactFinance #Collaboration
1. Early Engagement Matters
Engage stakeholders early to build trust and uncover risks before they escalate. Transparent dialogue leads to stronger partnerships and smoother project delivery.
#StakeholderEngagement #TrustBuilding #NatureFinance
Stakeholder mapping is key for bankable projects. Identify & engage local communities, govβt, NGOs & private sector early for buy-in, risk management & impact.

We absolutely agree. Carbon credits arenβt the whole story. They are the icing on the cake (if at all). We focus on community-led revenue and businesses that benefit local people plus the many ecosystem services mangroves and other nature assets provide.

Bankable nature projects start with the land:
β Biodiversity builds resilience
β Community buy-in builds legitimacy
β Risk clarity builds confidence
Together, they shape outcomes that last.

3οΈβ£ Risk Assessment
No bankability without risk clarity. Assess environmental & social risks upfront to avoid surprises and strengthen project resilience.
#NatureFinance #RiskAssessment #ESG #ProjectResilience #Bankability
2οΈβ£ Stakeholder Engagement
Bankable projects start with people. Engage communities early to build trust, align goals & unlock local insight. Co-creation leads to lasting impact.
#NatureFinance #StakeholderEngagement #CommunityLed #TrustBuilding #Bankability
1οΈβ£ Biodiversity & Ecosystem Services
Rich biodiversity = strong foundation for bankable nature projects. Ecosystem services like water purification & climate regulation boost long-term viability.

Selecting the right landscape is key to bankable nature projectsβlook for biodiversity, strong local engagement & low risk. Build on solid ground for lasting impact.

Aid is shifting from implementation to influence. Bilateral deals rise, multilateralism fades. Geopolitical risk reshapes development finance. Blended finance could help, but access is uneven.

Powerful work from @rare.org. To scale climate resilience, we help make locally-led solutions finance-ready, unlocking ROI-seeking capital alongside direct support. Community-driven adaptation must be investable as well, to fill the financing gap.
#NatureFinance #ImpactInvesting #Bankability
Conservation finance must expand: locally-led monitoring is investable, scalable and underfunded. Direct support is vital, but so is unlocking ROI-seeking capital to back community-driven impact.

We agree with Beria Leimona on locally-led, landscape-scale climate action. With public finance in retreat, the real challenge now is unlocking more private capital to scale what works while staying grounded in equity and place.
