A lot of Japanese cars assembled in the United States, actually have a higher American made content than so-called American cars too. This is based on the value added, not the final sale price.

I think of them that way. Buying one of those Japanese vehicles actually contributes more to our economy than buying something from GM. It’s ridiculous for people to get lower quality and contribute less to their own economy by “buying American” from a company like GM that has zero loyalty to them

None of the “US” brands are that high on American-made content. If I remember correctly, some Japanese branded models sold in the US have higher US-made content than the ostensibly “US” brands do.

Who is going to watch it though? MAGA will still be on Fox, and normal people aren't going to want to watch Fox-retread on CNN.
