Easter Sky Over Sturgeon Lake
This photo is the result of 183 images taken over a period of 75 minutes then stacked with StarStax. It was then blended with a foreground image taken just after the sun dipped below the horizon.
Taken from the northern shore of Sturgeon Lake in Minnesota.
Joshua Tree and Cholla Cactus at Sunset
While I have seen many backlit images of Cholla cactus in JTNP, I couldn't resist doing my own version. I think the best way to capture a Cholla is backlit at sunset.

Stars and Red Rocks
Star photography in Joshua Tree National Park. The red glow on the rocks is from a car's tail lights. The bright star is Sirius, the North Star.
Would love an explanation from him about the feckless strategy being employed by the Dems, but I have given up.

River of Gold
An early morning image of a field of sunflowers near our cabin in northern Wisconsin. Interesting in the way the light and shadows seems to form a "river of gold" on this field.
