Thought I’d never play a Monster Hunter and now I’ve put 100+ hours into Wilds.

5% of people have the plat in Monster Hunter Wilds and I don’t understand how so many people did the crown hunting. I don’t think a mini crown Doshaguma exists.

I watched Jurassic World Rebirth over the weekend and it was solid. Biggest bummer is there’s only one T-Rex scene. It’s a really great scene but I want more T-Rex.

I’m in a huge gaming funk right now. Can’t get into anything or stick with anything.

I haven’t played it that much but it’s pretty great. It feels like a much needed upgrade over the regular Switch.

The river raft scene was sooooo good!

I think the bottom line is that there’s no narrative, no characters, no story. They’re less art and more so just games. They’re often fun but it’s hard to compare fun to really emotional experiences.

Crown hunting in Monster Hunter is going to be the end of me.

This is a good read and I think it just boils down to core issue of reviewing multiplayer games. I had a similar experience when I saw Marvel Rivals had a 74 on Metacritic. Multiplayer game reviews are fundamentally flawed.

I prefer the uninspired ones honestly. Like reach rank 100 on gta online takes awhile but if you enjoy the game you can just get it by playing. Overwatch for example has a nightmare trophy list that you could play for 1000 hours and never achieve.
