Look at Gary ray smith knitting on instagram. He has a video on how he carries no floats when doing colour work. It looks amazing even on inside. You have to go far down his page but it’s there.

Not at all. I think both require the ability to capture light but also having the eye to crop an image such that it incorporates the elements of design in the most appealing way possible. Both are a documentation of a moment in time. 🙌🏻
