Truth is, there are always gonna be people who don’t understand or get your vision. Heck, some will even try to stop you from it. But you have to keep going because YOU believe in your vision, YOU see where it will end up! And that’s what matters most.

Hearing that from people so high up, it’s like damn…does any of what I do matter? Is it all for nothing? And the answer is, yes, it does matter. It will ALWAYS matter. Because it matters to ME. I put in the work, I’ve been doing this for five years. I’ve achieved things I never would’ve imagined!

A story that ill expand upon into the new year, but for now will serve as a message for 2026. At a con this year, two prominent voice actors who’s work I appreciated, disrespected and disregarded my interviews to my face. It hurt my spirit & broke me down. It felt like my work didn’t matter.

The greed of these corporations is SICKENING 🤢

Rest in peace to all the legends. Thank you for what you added to the world and giving so much of yourself. Bravo to the artists of today and tomorrow 👏🏽👏🏽. We got some work to do. Onward!

What I do know is that as artists, the goal is to create authentically and passionately. We have to carry the torch that the greats left us and build a new. We owe it to what they set up and how they paved the way for so many of us to create.

We’re exposed to so much on the daily. We can’t even fully process what happened to us on a daily basis. With these greats passing, I have so many questions about the arts that I’ll probably never get answered.

There’s someone right now with 2+ million followers and you have no idea who they are. Everyone’s a star. And if everyone’s a star, no one is. Theres no “figurehead” of the arts really. It’s whoever you like/know. Who do we all point to these days and say “Look!” ?

It’s different these days. Back then, the artists we were exposed to were pretty straight forward and allowed us to examine and focus solely on what they added to the culture. That’s how we were exposed to so many greats. We were on the same page as a society. Nowadays, it’s too scattered.

But who is this generations tastemakers? Who are the artists who are adding to the conversation at THAT high of a level? There are artists who are pushing the mark forward no doubt. But to the level of a Michael Jackson? A Quincy Jones? Are we even exposed to that level of talent these days?

But where does that leave us as a culture? Are we even processing the loss of such talents properly? These are artists who added to the cultural conversation at such a high level. It inspired GENERATIONS of people to create and add their own stories to the world. And will continue to.

D’Angelo, Ozzy Osbourne, Quincy Jones, Drew Struzan, James Earl Jones, the list could go one of all the greats we’ve lost in the past year or less. We’re losing cultural icons/tastemakers at such a fast rate these days. Sometimes back to back. It’s so unfortunate to see such influences pass on.

The reaction to my panel hosting announcement has been INSANE and shocking. I didn’t expect as many of you to show up for me like that. It’s a blessing and one I take to heart. Thank you. Working like a monster on these panels. Tightening it up from top to bottom. Yall are gonna LOVE it ✨

Got a call Thursday that will genuinely change the direction of where I see my content in the future. Will talk about it more closer to the dates, but just wanna say I’m beyond grateful for everyone I’ve met, spoken, and be friended over these past five years. It’s all lead to this. Thank you God ❤️✨

Seeing a video of an AI Ozzy Osbourne talking about his Parkinson’s Disease and I have to say, whoever made that, you should be ASHAMED of yourself. Too many videos of Ozzy giving powerful, passionate, and wonderful tales through his many interviews. Words he ACTUALLY said. Have some damn respect.
