It's how I know I'm on the right track: When an element of my story starts squatting & won't leave.

Tl;dr: Don't look for a mascot, let it come to you, & refuse to pay rent.

Just a quick update on this: I apparently didn't just sprain my wrist, I also dislocated one of the bones in my arm that connects to the wrist, so my recovery time is going to be longer than I had hoped. 😵‍💫

So we contacted a realtor and got rolling on getting pre-approval for a loan.

Less than 24 hours later, someone swooped in with a cash offer, and the seller's already going for it!

This has happened to us every time we've tried to buy. Needless to say, I'm just crushed.
