Lately I’ve been collecting small animal carcasses and burying them in the garden bed behind my apartment, a project I have lovingly denoted as “Em’s Body Farm.” Eventually, I’ll have this lil guy’s bones for crafting!

The studio I took dance classes at for nearly 4 years is being demolished soon. I signed up for @zindagiforeva.bsky.social's classes on a whim, not knowing that dance would become a huge part of my life. These paintings are based on my first performance there, a beetle version of the Rite of Spring.
