I think we need a direct lawyer assessment of exactly which laws were violated and an immediate investigation into the officers that are simply attacking citizens without any related investigation of a crime, detainment or arrest. A badge does not make this any less a violent crime.

I think it's just marketing. It's called Lynx in New Zealand, too. I'm guessing US guys think "Axe" sounds manly and a sufficient number don't reliably know what a lynx is.
