Do you know how painful it is when you see your only child in pain and you wait for him to die because you don't have the money to save his life?
I don't have the money.
I beg you, I love my child so much. I don't want him to die.

Ok, Josh. Just one question: Where are all the fucking movies?

Why aren't we suddenly inundated with infinite Hollywood grade movies customized for every imaginable genre and plot? Could it be because the generated films are complete garbage?

In Gaza, hunger isn't loud. It’s quiet, patient, creeping into your bones until you forget the taste of fullness. The war takes everything but hunger? It stays. Every day. Every breath. No explosions, just empty plates.

Yeah well season two was a little that. They spent so much of that year on a magic boat that kept bringing them to spinoff ideas

He is both core to the show’s identity and still a very active voice actor! Adult Swim just commissioned a new show starring him (a spinoff of his Rick & Morty recurring role as The President.)

If they were gonna do anything with Gargoyles they should have let Greg Weisman do the series continuation he wanted to do, you know, the X-Men '97 version of a Gargoyles revival. That could have worked. Probably still could work. I digress.

Those big old wings are a bit of a hazard. There's a reason that almost every TV show that breaks out angels makes their wings a sparing or even optional acoutrement. Will the Gargoyles be wholly CG in a live action show? Then you run into the She-Hulk kind of ballooning budget problem. Tricky.

There's probably a happy medium in here somewhere, but I am mostly struck in thinking that Gargoyles was a show about reverse engineering the appeal of Batman and other superhero stories in an animated context, and gargoyles were a cast that made sense in a landscape of ninja turtles and rich ducks

Took time out to reproduce my mom's 1986 interview with Werner Herzog. I was proud of her at the time--and I still am. It's too bad more filmmakers of his stature didn't visit AK at the time; not when they could film in Vancouver or Washington and call it "Alaska," but he seemed to enjoy the place.

I know anecdotally that the Babylon 5 cast played baseball with Deep Space Nine's (and Voyager's), and I sincerely believe based on no evidence other than this that "Take Me Out To The Holosuite" was about that.

If you are even a mildly public figure working in a domain Trump has demonized over the last few years, you have seen the email messages grow more frequent and more threatening. It is honestly surprising we have not had more direct acts of political violence.
