My favorite thing about creating and owning characters is that I can just be needlessly cruel to them for no reason and nobody's allowed to get mad at me.

Just because I'm the writer/director of TADC doesn't mean I deserve all the credit for everything. There MANY times when a board artist or an animator will come up with a detail or shot that elevate the themes/characterization in a way I didn't even think of, and I'm like "fuuuuuck that's genius..."

When RTX was around, I remember their voice talent signings being free. It later came out that the talent was contractually obligated to be there since they worked for RT already.
