Same, I was more just amazed that this was the experience Steam was pushing people to! It was the top takeover on the store, they were very explicitly telling everyone who was shopping that they wanted to vomit literally 3,500 random games at them. It's a really bizarre choice!

Now that it's kicked over from random games to some kind of curation this is actually pretty cool, but man those opening couple days were weird!

Why do I need to have ideas? It isn't my job to give Steam users a positive experience, I'm just a customer having a bad time and wanting to express that.

Trying to actually browse Next Fest makes me feel like I'm about 800 years old, just thrown into a pool of endless white noise I don't understand that makes me want to turn off my computer and read a book. I can't believe this is what the Steam client is actively pushing people to look at.
