We are working on a physical release of Mon-Dane, with some quick start sensations, NPCs and player characters! Stay tuned as we finish development! Because the scope is so much smaller than BTGW, we can easily release it without a kickstarter. And the distributor we are talking to sells to b&ms :3

We recently launched a 7 page table top RPG that uses tarot cards instead of dice!!! It’s a bit of a pilot game and is one of a series of tarot based games we are making

disco is one of our inspirations as devs, we absolutely love that game, the detective class has a perk that is a call back to shivers, and one of the example specialties is "outland kingdom" which should be clear :3

It’s a pretty big design consideration for us. Modularity makes home brew easier. And out skill system is left open ended to allow players to be creative when designing a character.
Where are all the holiday matsuri folk who are into table top?
Butler is on my short list of writers I need to find the time for, I have read some experts and synopsis to get a handle on her writing and she is definitely one of the greats. we are already paying some homage to her in the scifi horror section of our TTRPG’s setting.
We are a indie TTRPG project, so here is hoping blue sky is a great place to connect and reach new eyes.
So the game now features a mixed success system reminiscent of powered by the apocalypse, and a more war gamey system for that dnd style combat.

An other design motif
We separated narrative and detailed violence. Not every bar fight needs to be a full board game action sequence. And sometimes a big fight should have a board so players can position in clever ways.
