Furpocalypse 2025 was nice! I carpooled with a friend to get there. The car show/meet in the parking garage was pretty cool. I took way too many fursuit pics for inspiration. And I made some new dragon friends🐉 :)

Hand made paws for my eventual fursuit! This uses the slim style pattern from Skunky Designs. The pattern was too "slim", and had to be adjusted, so some of the proportions might be off. These were made by my mom.

Stage Flight 3 was fantastic! I loved seeing the map change during the sets! Those types of effects have always been my favorite thing to see at raves.

Ok, the historical account is done. I might bring up stuff later that I forgot, but at this point, I'll catch up from stuff that happened over the past week or so :)

It went better than it expected. It definitely helped that they didn't know what furries were. Good timing too, because <politics> happened right after. So at least I got to tell them before the media did. I asked my mom for help for making the suit, and she said yes!

After the con, I decided that I finally wanted to make a fursuit. Even though my room is full of furry stuff, my parents assumed it was some cartoon thing, since they didn't know about furries. I finally told my (maga) parents that I was a furry.

August: Megaplex 2025. Great con aside from the lines lol. The venue is very nice. The pool is a vibe. I hung out with VRC friends like CaliRaisin, and other online friends again. I met up with some VRC Wing Meet furs at the dragon species meet! I went to room parties and I made great connections.

When we saw the fireworks, we perched up on top of one of the buildings. We had some friends that had difficulty getting up, and I got into my Moondle dragon avatar and flew them up. Someone told me it was fantastic to see our friends being dropped off by me as a dragon ;_;

I managed to get into an instance with a lot of friends during the community show case. With all of us there, we laughed and we cried. It was an amazing show case. We survived the "vrchat crash of 2025" together.

June: Furality 2025. This was the most time I've spent in VRC. I hung out with the friends I made during the new player nights. I got introduced to groups I didn't know about. I learned about projects I didn't have much knowledge about.

He's now working on a fursuit made in a more technical way, by using a CNC to cut the foam and 3d printing parts for the suit. He's also vlogging some of his progress.

Although he's been in VR for a several years, he didn't know about some of the cool stuff happening in VRC. Boqi (and sometimes I) showed him around. He found his own furry friends as well. He got introduced to more furry subcultures and was amazed at the quality of the art/animations people made.

Now, talks about Furality 2025 was becoming more common. I joined some of the "new player nights" with Boqi to find some new friends. One of the friends we made was GoatChurch. He's a grey muzzle that only just found out about furries and was very enthusiastic about furries!

I try to go to the wing meet every so often. I have a few consistent people that I talk to, but mostly just during the meets. Around the same time I have other friends that I like to hang around with outside the meet, so I'm usually there for a short time before hopping.

I awkwardly walked up to the group that was left, waving, scared to say hi to people. Eventually, Morghus spoke to me, and we talked for a bit. It was nice to finally talk to him. It was cool to see a bunch of other dragon furs and artists that I've seen over the years all in the same instance!

In the next week, I was nervous to join. Boqi encouraged, more like volintold, me to join and I did. (I'm glad he did.) I joined while the meet was dying down. I was still nervous. I recognized some names in the instance, like some amazing artists I've seen. I felt almost intimidated.

You mean the person whose assets I was using on my avatar and whose art of their character I've seen over the past several years is here!? Well I was too nervous to go over to the flock of dragons around him, so I joined the group, and said I'll join up for the next meet.

Around February, I was with Boqi in a rave. We noticed that there were a lot of dragons in the instance we were in. Too nervous to ask myself, Boqi asked one of them why that was the case. They pointed up towards a catwalk and said that Morghus was here as part of (the now named) Wing Meet!

January: ANE 2025. Unlike last year, I had friends to go with, like Islandgull from VRC! I had a similar experience to MFF, just with less people since this is a smaller con. I had fun at some room parties and was introduced to a few local telegram groups for furry meets and furry club events.
